Bids are now open for the development land Phase 1A, off Ashby Road in Tamworth, through Mather Jamie.

Phase 1A, located off Ashby Road, offers an exciting opportunity to purchase more than 14 acres of arable farmland, with outline planning permission for up to 180 homes, on the edge of Tamworth, a popular town in Staffordshire. Phase 1B, a development of 120 units adjacent to the site are to be built by homebuilders Davidsons.

Within two miles of Tamworth Railway Station and less than 15 miles from Birmingham City centre, the site is a prime spot for new homes. Hamish Byers, Rural Practice Surveyor for Mather Jamie, said, “This extremely promising residential development site represents an opportunity for a homebuilder to invest in land with outline planning consent, and to be a part of the continuing expansion of Tamworth, a booming West Midlands town within easy reach of Birmingham.”

The 14.13 acre (5.72 hectare) site is available for informal tender, with bids to be sent to the chartered surveyors’ offices before 1pm on Friday 15th February 2019.
