Sale of Residential Development Site in Kirton in Lindsey to Newett Homes

Mather Jamie is pleased to announce the successful completion of the sale of a residential development site in Kirton in Lindsey, Lincolnshire, to Newett Homes.
The 10.4-acre site, located on the western edge of the attractive market town, has been brought forward in collaboration with The Strategic Land Group, who acted as promoters. The site benefits from detailed planning consent for a 74-unit residential development, incorporating green spaces, tree planting, a children’s play area, and delivering a 10 per cent biodiversity net gain.
In addition, the site holds outline planning permission for residential development, open space, and associated infrastructure. An illustrative masterplan demonstrates the potential for approximately 79 dwellings across a net developable area of 5.44 acres (2.20 hectares). The planning permission does not impose a cap on the number of homes, allowing developers flexibility in determining the final scheme.
Planning permission was secured following two successful appeals, both achieved after refusals by the local authority contrary to officer recommendation.
