Mather Jamie Wins Q4 2021 CoStar Awards Quarterly Deals Recognition

CoStar Group, Inc., the leading provider of commercial real estate information, analytics and online marketplaces, has announced the CoStar Awards Quarterly Deals winners for the fourth quarter of 2021.
Head of Commercial, Alex Reid won the top leasing deal category for the East Midlands for the fourth quarter of 2021. Mather Jamie was acting on behalf of the long leaseholder to secure sub-tenants for 14 Charterpoint Way in Ashby de la Zouch and was able to agree a letting to Plastribution Group. Liz Bailey from CBRE was also our joint agent.
Commenting on the award, Alex said, “We constantly strive to achieve the very best results possible for all of our clients, new and established. We were delighted to be able to secure new tenants for our clients of 14 Charterpoint Way. This property was ideally located and suited for Plastribution and winning a CoStar award for our work on behalf of clients is an added bonus.”
He added, “This is one of a number of commercial office deals Mather Jamie has acted on over the last year - a period during which many people were working from home and employers began to question their office space needs. The number of deals still taking place shows that the office is not dead – just that space requirements are being reconsidered in light of these changing needs.”
Plastribution Group is a leading distributor of plastic raw materials and wanted to relocate to new offices that needed to be close to its existing offices which were already on Charterpoint Way.
Continuing Alex said, “Number 14 offered Plastribution the ideal opportunity to occupy 10,000 sq ft of office space over two floors and enabled them to create a modern high quality office environment to return to work post-lockdown.”
The CoStar Awards Quarterly Deals winners are determined by their top deals completed every quarter, based on price and square footage.
Other commercial offices that Mather Jamie sold or let during the last 18 months include 20,000 sq foot modern office building in Cossington, Syston, and a single storey 8,000 sq.ft office at Garden Court in Lockington.
