Mather Jamie Proudly Supports and Sponsors the 2025 Ashby Show

As leading East Midlands land and property specialists Mather Jamie is proud to announce our support and sponsorship of the 2025 Ashby Show, one of the UK’s largest and most popular agricultural events.

This year’s show will take place on Sunday 13th July 2025 at Cattows Farm, Heather, Leicestershire – a venue that has proven to be a favourite among visitors and exhibitors alike.

In a particularly special year for the business, Mather Jamie’s Managing Director, Robert Cole, is serving as President of the Ashby Show, a role which involves working closely with the organising committee to oversee preparations, ensure the smooth running of the event, and represent the show to the public and stakeholders.

Now in its 121st year, the Ashby Show has a rich history dating back to 1904, when it was first held at the Bath Grounds in Ashby de la Zouch. After temporary breaks during the First and Second World Wars, the event has continued to grow, moving to various locations over the years before settling at its current home at Cattows Farm, where it continues to attract thousands of visitors.

Mather Jamie will be hosting a stand in a prominent location near the main arena, offering a warm welcome to clients old and new. The team looks forward to connecting with members of the local agricultural, landowning, and rural communities and taking the opportunity to thank longstanding clients for their continued support.

Speaking ahead of the show, Robert Cole said “It is a real honour to serve as President of this year’s Ashby Show – an event that holds such significance for the rural and agricultural community in this region. Mather Jamie has deep roots in the East Midlands countryside, so we are delighted to continue our support by sponsoring the show and hosting a stand. We look forward to seeing many familiar faces and welcoming new ones on the day.”

The Ashby Show promises a fantastic day out for all ages, with a wide range of attractions including livestock and equestrian competitions, trade stands, local food and drink, and family entertainment. With Mather Jamie’s commitment to supporting rural life and agriculture, their involvement underscores the importance of strong partnerships between landowners, agents, and the wider countryside community.
