Mather Jamie Earns Double Recognition at 2024 Property Awards

Over the past year, Mather Jamie has diligently worked to elevate our industry presence while fostering the development of our future advisors. Participating in awards and receiving recognition for our efforts is highly motivating for our team and serves as a testament to our credentials for clients, particularly those partnering with us for the first time.

We are thrilled to announce that Mather Jamie has been shortlisted in two categories for the 2024 Insider East Midlands Property Dinner Awards. These prestigious annual awards celebrate the strength, depth, and quality of the region's property sector, highlighting the best in real estate, construction, and design.

Our firm is honoured to be shortlisted for both the 'Agent of the Year' and 'Client Adviser of the Year' categories. The winners will be revealed at the black-tie awards dinner on September 5th at the De Vere East Midlands Conference Centre in Nottingham.

Other categories to be announced include:

  • Developer of the Year
  • Agent of the Year
  • Design Excellence Award
  • Regeneration & Restoration Project of the Year
  • Construction Project of the Year
  • Sustainability Award
  • Residential Developer of the Year
  • Client Adviser of the Year
  • Property Deal of the Year
  • Skills & Apprenticeship Scheme Award
  • Emerging Property Person of the Year

In our submission, we highlighted our strong performance over the past year in the development, agricultural, and commercial property markets, despite economic challenges such as high inflation. As a single office practice based in Loughborough, we have:

  • Sold 8 development sites valued at £85 million, resulting in 1,597 new homes, including much-needed affordable and low-rent housing.
  • Engaged in over 1,222,646 sq ft of freehold and leasehold property transactions, valued at approximately £26.9 million.
  • Managed over 30 land and property portfolios with estimated asset values exceeding £200 million.
  • Continued our project management role in the New Lubbesthorpe development, which includes over 4,500 homes, schools, community centres, and healthcare facilities on the outskirts of Leicester.
  • Supported three surveyors in obtaining their professional qualifications to become Members of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and The Central Association for Agricultural Valuers.
  • Expanded our professional team from 14 to 19 qualified professionals, marking an impressive 36% growth for a small firm.
  • Continued to invest in marketing to boost our brand exposure and generate leads for newly qualified surveyors.

The Insider expects a high demand for bookings, and the event is likely to sell out. We encourage you to book your tickets soon to enjoy a night of networking and celebration with industry peers.
