Mather Jamie is pleased to confirm the completion of the sale of a residential development site in Crowle to Hoober Homes.
The new housing scheme, known as Millcroft Mews, extends to approximately 3.28 acres and is situated on the southern edge of Crowle, within the Isle of Axholme. Located just north of Godnow Road and within walking distance of the town centre, the site provides a convenient setting for new homes, with access to local services and surrounding countryside.
Mather Jamie acted as sole agents on behalf of the landowner, marketing the site as a residential and commercial development opportunity. The sale was agreed on a subject to planning basis, with planning permission subsequently secured for the erection of 41 dwellings, alongside associated landscaping, infrastructure, and access.
Millcroft Mews will comprise a collection of 41 two-, three-, and four-bedroom homes. The scheme has been designed with a focus on practical layouts, energy efficiency, and comfortable living, aiming to meet a range of local housing needs, including first-time buyers and families.
Sam Tyler from Mather Jamie commented “We are pleased to have completed the sale of this site in Crowle to Hoober Homes. The scheme represents an opportunity to bring forward a well-considered residential development that can contribute to local housing provision. We look forward to seeing the site progress in due course.”
Taylor Holden from Hoober Homes added “We are pleased to have acquired this site in Crowle and to have secured planning permission for Millcroft Mews. Our aim is to deliver a high-quality development that reflects the character of the area, with a focus on space, efficiency and sustainability. We look forward to creating a scheme that will integrate well with the existing community.”
Crowle, with a population of approximately 4,800 (2011 Census), is a small town offering a range of everyday amenities alongside its surrounding rural setting. The delivery of Millcroft Mews will provide additional housing choice, supporting the town’s ongoing evolution while respecting its established character.
