In 1991 Mike co-founded Mather Jamie with Martin Ward and was a Director until stepping down in 2007 to work on a part time consultancy basis. During the early 1980`s Mike concentrated his professional working on purely the Commercial and Industrial markets forging a strong Loughborough based business. He played a major role in shaping the towns industrial estates working closely with developers and investors and this earned him the affectionate title of `Mr Loughborough` from his professional colleagues and clients.
In more recent times Mike has provided advice to land-owners bringing forward a number of major commercial and Residential schemes across the East and West Midlands. His role in the town of Rugby has guided much of the town`s Northerly expansion working alongside main-stream house builders and commercial developers.
In his spare time Mike has a love for fishing and is a season ticket holder and supporter of Nottingham Forest …. something not to shout too loudly about when working in Leicester.
