Andrew Granger joined Mather Jamie in 2024 as a Consultant.
Andrew was appointed a Deputy Lieutenant of Leicestershire in 2008, and his reputation is well known. He is very well respected for having established his own firm, Andrew Granger & Co in 1989 from a single office in Market Harborough, to 50 staff including 7 directors, across three offices in Market Harborough, Leicester and Loughborough. He stepped down in 2017 and since then has been acting as a consultant.
Outside of his business advisory work, Andrew's achievements include being President of the Leicestershire Chamber of Commerce in 2007.
He has also held the title of the National President of the Central Association of Agricultural Valuers, been chair of the local branch of the Country Land and Business Association (CLA) and is actively involved in a great deal of charity work and building projects that have helped to improve many high-profile community facilities in Leicestershire. This includes fundraising initiatives for Leicester Children's Hospital and he is Chairman of the Project Board for the substantial renovation and extension of Leicester Cathedral.
