Sale Development Land at Phase II Peashill Farm, Sileby

Project Background

Mather Jamie, acting on behalf of a private landowner, were instructed to seek developer interest in a consented development site in Sileby which had been successfully promoted by Barwood Strategic Land who obtained Outline Planning Permission for 175 dwellings in February 2023.

Mather Jamie were instructed by the landowner to offer the site for sale by way of Informal Tender to a range of Housebuilders. The site is located on Ratcliffe Road, to the south-eastern side of Sileby and immediately adjacent to Phase which was sold to Davidsons who are currently developing 201 dwellings.

Project Outcome

The Site was marketed on a whole of market basis through an Informal Tender process and we received significant interest in the site which was reflected in the level of offers received and following the shortlist interview process and best and final offers, term were agreed with Jelson for an unconditional sale.

Jelson purchased the site on an unconditional basis with a simultaneous exchange and completion taking place in September 2023.

This case study demonstrates an excellent example of Landowner, Agent and Promoter working collaboratively to secure a sale to Jelson within 6 months from the Outline Planning Permission which represent a superb result for all involved.
