Project Background
Mather Jamie were instructed by W.Westerman Ltd to market a residential development site located in Sutton in Ashfield which benefits from Full Planning Permission for the construction of 69 low density, family houses.
Marketing Approach
Mather Jamie led the marketing campaign for the site and facilitated the procurement of a full developers information pack including a detailed Ground Investigation Report and Utilities Report. All information was held online in a password protected data room, hosted by Mather Jamie.
The site was marketed by way of an Informal Tender process, with very strong competing interest generating a significant number of offers. East Midlands Housing were selected as preferred purchaser.
East Midlands Housing purchased the site on an unconditional basis with simultaneous exchange and completion taking place in October 2022.
Project Outcome
The sale of the site to East Midlands Housing represents an excellent outcome for our client. When completed the scheme will provide much needed new housing for the affordable homes sector, including both affordable rent and shared ownership housing.
