Project Background 

Mather Jamie was instructed by the client to market a unique site comprising a former garden nursery which had wound down and the Vendor sought to explore options for redevelopment of the site.  The client had obtained full planning permission for the conversion of two existing barns and the erection of 6 new build dwellings.

Project Outcome

Mather Jamie successfully agreed terms with Chevin Homes who have purchased the site on an unconditional basis with completion taking place in December 2022. Mather Jamie are delighted to have secured a sale of the site for our client to Chevin Homes who will deliver scheme which will make excellent use of a previously redundant site.

There were several challenges along the way with regard to technical aspects of the site and Mather Jamie were able to guide the Vendor to an excellent outcome.

When completed, the new development will comprise the conversion of the existing Grade II Listed five bedroom house, two Grade II Listed barn conversions and six detached dwellings.
