The local centre site will incorporate a care home and discussions are progressing with potential operators. It is anticipated the mixed-use building fronting Tay Road/Square will provide an NHS health centre to the upper floors, convenience food store anchored development to the ground floor with opportunity for expressions of interest from occupiers for up to 500 m of retail/leisure accommodation and pub/bistro plot capable of providing a facility of approx 500m2.

The developers Charterpoint Group are progressing discussions with the NHS and local medical practitioners for delivery of the health centre and convenience store and are looking for expressions of interest from occupiers for both the pub/bistro facility and the additional retail/leisure accommodation on site.

The quality of the development and delivery means Charterpoint and existing land owners are looking for a high-quality development with occupiers of standing to create an attractive Local Centre environment for the adjoining new community.

As such, it is envisaged that the pub/bistro facility will be an open all-day establishment providing more of a café/bistro style operation offering facilities to local communities from morning, through lunch times into early evening with a food and social hub bias.
