Planning permission has been granted by North West Leicestershire District Council for nine homes to be built which will offer more than 15,500ft² of accommodation.

The Planning Approval permits the retention and conversion of the existing principle farmhouse, believed to have been built in the 1850s, and frontage barn to form four new dwellings. The remaining agricultural buildings are to be demolished to make way for five single storey and two storey homes.
